I purchased two VideoSecu IR801K Indoor/Outdoor Day/Night Vision Security Cameras. They each perform wonderful. I have mounted a single outside so far. The daytime color view is real nice and the night vision is too. Fantastic viewing range in the dark. The audio is clear no phantom sounds. 1 can see the IR lights in the dark if you appear for them but not blatantly so. The cable is of great high quality and the VHS adapters are solid. Decent cost for a solid item.
I purchased one particular of these to connect to a new averdigi card I bought for my personal computer. To be sincere, the motivation was that it had a Sony image sensor a very good quantity of IR led's and one particular of the lowest prices I've seen. So far this camera has been good. It's not the sharpest resolution, and undoubtedly doesn't compare to what you would get for a lot more dollars, but for a basic camera it's terrific.
The picture good quality both day and night is very good, physique and mount are solid. You can see the IR LED's at night (faint red glow), but absolutely nothing obvious or distracting. I wish the mount had a little additional movement, but you can make it do what you want for the most portion.
The 3.6mm lens provides a great wide view, even at close distances, excellent for an entry, which is what I'm using this one particular for.
So far it really is been a really good camera that I would recommend, and will personally be buying at least a couple much more of.
